Beautiful and rare Georgian era French pin brooch constructed of silver on a heavy solid 15k gold base. In the late 1700's and early 1800's white gold was not available so in order to make jewelry not in yellow gold makers would add sterling to the face of the jewelry. Approximately 2.00ctw of natural rose cut diamonds accenting the vivid Madeira Citrine gems. Tested 15k gold on the heavy base. 2-1/2" wide and 2-1/2" tall. Tested 15k gold
