Stunning and one of a kind collectible pin brooch made of genuine 22k gold liberty gold coin love tokens. All hand engraved and chained together to a pin. Love tokens date back to medieval French trezians or coins that were carved specially for marriage. They were made popular again during the Civil War when soldiers would engraved coins to carry as dog tags or to send back home to their sweethearts. All made with the triple overlapping initials of someone's name. The main three Liberty head coins date to 1862, 1878, and 1853. Dates unknown for the dangling smaller coins on the bottom. Stunning pin! Measures 2-1/16" long by 2-5/8" tall. Tested 14k on the chain and 22k on all of the coins.
